1. Art Exhibitions
Head to Wimbledon Fine Art to enjoy their Spring Exhibition of 20th Century French & Italian paintings. View works by a range of artists including Regis Bouvier de Cachard, Andre Rafin (featured image), Maurice Boitel, Roberto Ferruzzi and Michel Maly.

Over at The Norman Plastow Gallery see the beauty of Wimbledon Common brought to life in Impressions of Wimbledon Common, the vibrant new solo exhibition from local printmaker Katie Preston.
Through striking screenprints, expressive monotypes and lively drawings, Katie captures the Common’s shifting seasons and transforms familiar paths, ponds and trees into bold, atmospheric works of art. Meet Katie at the gallery daily from 2–5 pm and hear about her creative process.

2. Rose & Crown x Rocks x Guinness
Enjoy a celebration of exceptional flavour, where the finest oysters meet the perfect pour of Guinness. Watch professional shuckers at work as they prepare the freshest oysters, served both beautifully chilled and indulgently hot. Expect bold pairings including rich Guinness Welsh Rabbit, crafted to elevate every bite and sip. From the first shell to the last pint, this is an experience designed for those who appreciate great food, great craft, and great company!

3. Agave Sampling @ Amathus
With Cinco de Mayo on the 5th May and World Paloma Day on the 22nd, the team at Amathus Wimbledon are getting in the mood this weekend with a free sampling of The Lost Explorer’s award-winning range of tequila and mezcal.

4. Pond Dipping with the Wimbledon Common Nature Club
The Wimbledon Common Nature Club meets on the first Sunday of each month between 10am and 12 noon to do hands on activities with nature, from making bird feeders to examining life under a microscope. Events are suitable for 6 – 14 year olds but parents are very welcome to come along too. At the May session, the children will discover the creatures under the water.
Where & When: Information Centre, Windmill Road, Wimbledon Common on Sunday 3rd May from 10 am – 12 pm.
Cost: Free, although the Club welcomes donations towards equipment and invited guests.
5. Artisan Market @ the Dog & Fox
Browse a host of small independent businesses offering artisan products and gifts including jewellery, candles, glass, gin, artwork & more. Pop in on your way around the Village – dogs are welcome too!

6. The Southside Hustle Classic Car Meet
A perfect morning out for car enthusiasts, this informal gathering of classic car owners in Wimbledon Village on the first Sunday of each month features a stunning and eclectic array of cars, some incredibly rare. [Image Credit: @paolojgibelli]
