Wimbledon Village Business Association (WVBA) - Connecting and Thriving Together

The Wimbledon Village Business Association works closely with our vibrant and close-knit local business community to help ensure the area’s enduring appeal as a premium commercial and visitor destination.

We currently have around 100 members representing a wide range of business sectors.

The Association’s primary role is to showcase all that Wimbledon Village has to offer in order to drive increased footfall to the area and ensure we continue to grow as a thriving retail and business centre.

We promote the Village through events such as Christmas in the Village, online marketing channels including this website and e-newsletters, and a range of media and PR activities. We also have an exceptionally strong social media presence with nearly 30,000 followers across Instagram and Facebook.

In addition to promotional activities, the WVBA also works to improve and enhance the Village environment for visitors, our residents and businesses, through, for example, the provision of tubs, planters, and hanging baskets, and by liaising with the Council to ensure local facilities are maintained and upgraded where required. At Christmas we pay for and install the Village Tree and Festive Lighting to ensure the Village looks its best during this crucial trading period.

To encourage a strong local business community we organise bi-annual networking parties, arrange additional ad hoc business seminars and events, plus send out regular B2B mailings.

We also support local charities through a number of fundraising initiatives.

Membership of the WVBA costs just £120 per calendar year.

Members are entitled to two free tickets to both our Summer and Christmas Networking Parties, attended by over 100 local business people and stakeholders.
