The winners of the Time & Leisure Food and Culture Awards 2024 have been announced and we’re delighted to report that modern Italian restaurant Cent Anni was crowned winner of the ‘Wimbledon Village Great Taste Award’.
This new award category, sponsored by the Wimbledon Village Business Association and voted for by the public, was designed to recognise and celebrate all the fabulous food and drink retailers here in the Village. While there could only be one winner, The Black Lamb was highly commended, while Cote Brasserie, Light House and Table @ Vallebona were commended. Also reaching the shortlist for the Wimbledon Village Great Taste Award were Bayley & Sage, Dog & Fox, Friarwood Fine Wines, Prezzemolo & Vitale and The Orangery at Cannizaro House Hotel Du Vin.
We’re delighted to announce that the Village also had another winner in this year’s Awards, with local favourite the Rose & Crown deservedly being ‘crowned’ Best Pub!
