1. Fenjiu Baijiu Sampling

Did you know that the world’s most popular spirit is one that few people in the UK have heard of, never mind tried?

Baijiu is made from three basic ingredients – sorghum, qu and water – and was traditionally enjoyed neat throughout meals, but today is also used as the base for premium cocktails.

Join Qiqi, Yiru and Samantha from Fenjiu Baijiu (purportedly China’s oldest Baijiu brand) to learn about the drink’s history and the complex production methods behind it – and of course to sample the Baijiu itself. As well as offering neat samples, the team will be mixing up a Baijiu Negroni, a Rose Highball and a Bamboo Garden for you to try.
