The Wimbledon Common Nature Club meets on the first Sunday of each month between 10am and 12 noon to do hands on activities with nature, from making bird feeders to examining life under a microscope. Events are suitable for 6 – 14 year olds. Parents are welcome to come along too.

 

At  this session, hosted by local beekeeper Alison Pelikan, the children will explore the life of the honeybee and make a beeswax candle.

 

Where & When: Information Centre, Windmill Road, Wimbledon Common on Sunday 1st June from 10 am – 12 pm.

 

Cost: Free, although the Club welcomes donations towards equipment and invited guests.
