Four outstanding soloists join a vibrant chorus of current and former pupils for an evening of operatic splendour.

  • Soprano Philippa Boyle has performed at the Royal Opera House and English Touring Opera, and is currently singing Ellen in Peter Grimes for Opera North.
  • Mezzo-soprano Katie Bray recently won the Dame Joan Sutherland Audience Prize at Cardiff Singer of the World.
  • Tenor Thomas Elwin has earned a strong reputation across ENO, English Touring Opera and Opera Holland Park.
  • Bass-baritone Ashley Riches — a graduate of the Jette Parker Young Artist Programme and former BBC New Generation Artist — has recently been a feature of the Royal Opera House stage.

Together, they bring a programme of celebrated arias and choruses vividly to life.

Featuring excerpts from Bizet’s Carmen and Verdi’s La Traviata, alongside works by Mozart, Rossini and Puccini, including the iconic Nessun Dorma, this promises to be an unforgettable celebration of powerful voices and timeless music.

Food and drink will be available to purchase by pre-order by Monday 8th June at a discounted rate or during the course of the evening at full price. A beverage is included in the ticket price.
