Join the team at Amathus Wimbledon as they round off English Wine Week with a visit from Flora of Mudwall Wines.
Based near Benenden in Kent, Mudwall is on a mission to show there’s no need to limit your wine-consumption to bottles shipped from halfway across the world, when there are some incredible examples produced on English turf.
Their English Rosé is an expressive field blend of Pinot Noir, Pinot Meunier and Bacchus, while their Marlpit Bacchus offers crisp refreshment with a herbaceous nose and grassy undertones. Both wines were created by Owen Elias, one of England’s top winemakers and former head winemaker at Chapel Down.
Pop in and try the two wines, both perfect for summer supping.
