On Saturday 11th July it’s not only the Wimbledon Ladies’ Singles Final day, but also both World Rum Day and National Mojito Day. So what better way to celebrate than with a rum sampling and cocktail tasting?

Amathus will be welcoming Ross McDougal from NXUS Drinks to showcase Ten To One Caribbean rum and mix up a couple of rum-based cocktails.

Inspired by the Caribbean’s collective spirit, Ten To One brings different Caribbean islands and traditions together to create rums that are greater than the sum of their parts.

Under Ross’s guidance, you’ll try both the Ten To One Dark Rum and the Ten To One White Rum. Blending rums from Trinidad, Barbados, Jamaica and the Dominican Republic, the Dark Rum is beautifully suited to sipping, while the White Rum shines in cocktails. To demonstrate, as well as offering neat rum samples, Ross will be mixing up Mojitos (for Mojito Day) and Strawberry Daiquiris (perfect for drinking while watching the Wimbledon final).
