Join the Walk & Talk team this Saturday, 24th August, for a fascinating visit to the stunning Wat Buddhapadipa Temple.
The talk will be led by His Excellency Mr Thani Thongphakdi, Ambassador of Thailand to the United Kingdom. During the visit you will have the chance to meet the monks who live there and the opportunity to explore the Temple and its beautiful gardens. A formal offering of food will also be made to the Abbot by the Ambassador and the Walk & Talk team.
Throughout the morning, the Ambassador will share some anecdotes and insights from his career working as a diplomat, including as Thailand’s Ambassador to the United States and as Head of the Thai Foreign Ministry.
Refreshments are kindly being provided by the Temple and also back in the Village for all walkers.
As with all the weekly Walk and Talks, the walk will start at the Village War Memorial at 10.30am. There is no charge or booking required.
