The Merton Best Business Awards has announced its 2024 finalists and we’re delighted that a number of Wimbledon Village businesses have made the shortlist.
The Awards, which aim to celebrate the crème de la crème of our local business community, attracted a record number of entries this year, with just under 200 applications across the 15 categories.
Village businesses named as finalists include Allington Therapy and George’s Dog Boutique in the Best New Business category, and Friarwood Fine Wines in both the Best Independent Business and Best Online Retailer categories.
Local caterer Two Teaspoons has been shortlisted an amazing three times – for the Sustainable Impact Award, the Contribution to the Community award, in which Pose Wimbledon and Wimbledon Village Stables have also been named as finalists, and in the Best Customer Service category, in which Hotel du Vin and Nordic Balance were also shortlisted.
The winners will be announced at an awards ceremony in September. We wish all our Wimbledon Village finalists the very best of luck!
