Two of the most respected and successful business women in Wimbledon Village enjoyed the honour of attending receptions at 10 Downing Street earlier this week.
Thanyarat ‘Nicky’ Santichatsak, owner of the well established and popular Village restaurant Thai Tho (pictured above), was invited by Baroness Scott of Bybrook OBE to a reception to celebrate World Buddha Day on Wednesday. Meanwhile Nicky Green (below), who recently marked 20 years as landlady of the award-winning Rose and Crown pub, was invited to Number 10 by the RT Hon Laura Trott MBE, MP & Chief Secrtary to the Treasury, to celebrate women who are paving the way and inspiring women in a variety of sectors.
Well deserved recognition for two of our much-loved and inspirational female role models who between them boast over 50 years retail experience in the Village!
