The Friends of Wimbledon and Putney Commons brings together all of those who are connected by a passion for the Commons, for the purposes of collective celebration and fund raising. The Friends play a crucial role in preserving, protecting and maintaining this unique and special place.
Friends are invited to attend special events that provide a unique experience of the Commons amongst those who share the same passion and commitment.
Every path, heathland, bog, stream, pond and woodland of Wimbledon and Putney Commons has an incalculable value that requires ongoing investment. Without skilled conservation officers, mounted keepers and very committed staff, these unique spaces would not be as they are today: safe, clean and preserved. That is why every contribution, small and large, is so important.
You can become a Friend as an individual or a family, or you can choose to be a benefactor, patron or corporate sponsor.
