The World’s most famous grass tennis tournament, Wimbledon, is held every year in the first two weeks of July. One of the four annual grand slam events, Wimbledon takes place at the All England Lawn Tennis & Croquet Club, also known as the All England Club or AELTC.
Attracting top players and tennis fans from all over the globe, the fortnight is an exciting time to visit Wimbledon Village. It’s a great time for celebrity spotting – both visiting tennis stars and famous visitors – and to soak up the party atmosphere at all the Village bars and restaurants.
Outside of the Championship, you can still visit the Club and enjoy a visit to the Wimbledon Lawn Tennis Museum, an award-winning behind-the-scenes tour of the Grounds, buy Wimbledon memorabilia at the Shop, or enjoy a hot drink and a cake at the Wingfield Cafe.
