The Village School of Dance runs regular productions and Summer Schools, a full range of Ballet, Modern, Tap, Acrobatics, Pointe Work and Body Conditioning classes for children and adults, as well as Darcey Bussell’s brilliant high-intensity fitness class (which is also great fun!), DDMIX. They also have a competition team who dance and compete, representing the school in theatres around the South East.
Having trained at the RAD, and taught there for three years, Katherine Richardson BA (Hons) LRAD, ARAD set up The Village School of Dance in 2008 in the heart of Wimbledon Village. The school has now grown to include two further branches in Royal Tunbridge Wells and Dorking.
Whether it’s to help a child enjoy a hobby or work towards becoming a professional dancer or teacher, or to support adults looking to keep fit and have a giggle, the school offers a welcoming, family-friendly, community atmosphere.
