A Brush with the Past Art Exhibition @ Wimbledon Museum

Enjoy a free art exhibition at Wimbledon Museum. A Brush with the Past, created in collaboration with Common Works Gallery, features works by ten contemporary artists who have each drawn inspiration from a work of art relating to Wimbledon Common in the museum’s collection.

‘Whispers of Winter, Wimbledon Common’ by Katharine Rowe

The exhibition opened on 31st January and is running to 30th March, opening on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays only, from 2:30 to 5 pm. No ticket is required. Make sure to allow enough time to enjoy all the Museum exhibits which give a fascinating insight into the history of Wimbledon. Home to a small natural history collection and an archaeological collection, it’s a great spot for curious kids and is free of charge! Try their sensory trail, which is accessible to all and offers a unique, hands-on way to learn and connect with the museum collection using all your senses.
