Please join us on Sunday 1st December for Christmas in the Village – a day of fun, food and festive shopping we guarantee will get you in the Xmas spirit!
Organised by the Wimbledon Village Business Association in aid of local charity Wimbledon Guild, Christmas in the Village runs all day from 10 am to 5 pm and is jam packed with activities and attractions to keep the whole family entertained!
Santa will be greeting and treating children in his Grotto throughout the day and at lunchtime he will take to his trusty steed for a horseback parade down the High Street, complete with Elves and bells. The kids can also enjoy fairground and pony rides, face-painting, clay-modelling, craft, storytime, dance and music sessions and so much more!
The Christmas market will be offering a great selection of festive food, drinks and gifts and you can soak up the Christmas vibe throughout the day with music from a host of choirs and bands. Plus a number of the Village stores will be offering a variety of treats and discounts for shoppers to enjoy.
To wrap up the event, we’ll be inviting everyone to join us for sing-along carols mince pies and mulled wine at the Christmas Tree lights switch-on.
