The October 2026 recital will feature Jelena Makarova on piano. Jelena will be performing Lithuanian composers’ Čiurlionis’s Preludes (selection) Diana Čemerytė’s new work “Andromeda”, and a selection from Kurtág’s Játékok.

Generously supported by the Tertis Foundation, this event is one of a series of Lunchtime Recitals held on the fourth Friday of each month, featuring local and international professional musicians.

Where & When: St John the Baptist, on Friday 23rd October 2026 at 1pm.  The Church is open for refreshments from 12.30pm with delicious home-made cakes available.

Booking: No booking required. This event is free but donations are welcome in aid of the St John’s Music Fund.
