The October recital will feature Simon Neill and St John’s Director of Music Robert Mingay-Smith (piano). Generously supported by the Tertis Foundation, the programme includes Schubert’s Fantasy in F minor, Mozart’s Piano Sonata in D major (K.381), and Saint-Saëns’s Danse Macabre.

This event is one of a series of Lunchtime Recitals held on the final Friday of each month, featuring local and international professional musicians. There will be no November and December recitals but instead, lunchtime concerts will be held as part of the Wimbledon International Music Festival.

Where & When: St John the Baptist, on Friday 24th October at 1pm.  The Church is open for refreshments from 12.30pm with delicious home-made cakes available. Attendees are also welcome to bring their own food and drinks to enjoy before or after the recital.

Booking: No booking required. This event is free but donations are welcome in aid of the St John’s Music Fund.
