Join illustrator Louise Hung and animator Olivia Wu for a printmaking workshop inspired by the rich natural and social history of Wimbledon Common and Caesar’s Well.
Using historical postcards as inspiration, you will explore foam printmaking — a simple, beginner-friendly technique — to create your own unique printed postcards. You’ll also have the chance to reflect on your connection to nature, green spaces, or community, adding a personal message or recording your voice – contributions that may become part of a short animated film celebrating London Borough of Merton’s 60th anniversary.
All materials provided and no art experience is needed. The workshop is suitable for 16+ years.
Where & When: Wimbledon Museum, Saturday 6th September from 3 – 5 pm.
Tickets/Booking: This is a free event, but booking is required.
