Explore the habitats provided by Cannizaro’s trees, why they are so important or rare, how we can manage trees to protect these habitats.
Join arboriculturist Greg Packman in exploring the park’s tree collection and the habitats these trees provide. Each tree is a tower block of biodiversity. When you know where to look, they can be an endless source of fascination for all manner of invertebrates, fungi and birds. On this walk you will look at tree biology, types of habitat provided by trees, why they are so important or rare, and how we can manage trees to protect these habitats.
Greg is a prize winning arboriculturist and generously shares his knowledge with Friends groups across London and internationally. For more information, visit www.gregtalkstrees.com
