Create your own set of elegant porcelain dipping bowls using the ancient ‘pinch pot’ technique at this workshop with Anne-Catherine Creed Bovill. With a background in architecture and design, Anne approaches ceramics both as a maker and a designer — focusing on material, process, and how every object feels in the hand.

 

In this intimate, hands-on 2-hour session you’ll work slowly with the clay, guided step-by-step to shape each bowl with beautiful form, balance, and a tactile finish you’ll want to hold every day.

 

Once your pieces are formed, choose from two carefully selected glazes specially chosen to enhance the natural beauty of porcelain. Your bowls will then be taken to Anne’s Wimbledon Park studio for bisque and glaze firing (each 48 hours). Finished pieces will be ready for collection approximately three weeks later.
