Join the AELTC for a Nature Weekend where they will be celebrating the season’s wildlife and the role that water plays in helping nature flourish, in partnership with the London Wildlife Trust.
Taking place on the southern part of the former Wimbledon Park golf course, there will be a range of activities including pond dipping, how to create your own wildlife pond, spring bunting decorating and much more.
Explorers can join the Nature Safari walks to look for mini beasts and wildlife, and there will also be the opportunity to speak with the AELTC’s Horticulture and Grounds teams for advice on water-friendly plants and find out how they harvest water for their grass courts.
Where & When: By the Clubhouse on the former Wimbledon Park Golf Course, near the Wimbledon Park entrance on Home Park Road. Morning and afternoon sessions: 10am–1pm and 2–4pm on Saturday 28 and Sunday 29 March.
