Wimbledon National Trust Association Talk: London Exhibitions 1871-1924 ‘Round the World for 80 pence’

Wimbledon National Trust Association lectures are held once a month on Saturday afternoons in the autumn and winter/spring.

 

The February talk, by Michael Gilbert, looks at the power of the 1851 Great Exhibition which led to an explosion of exhibitions and new venues for the next one hundred years in London.

 

Where & When: Christ Church Hall, 2a Cottenham Park Road, London, SW20 0RZ on Saturday February 21st at 3.30pm. Tea/coffee and biscuits are served from 3 pm.

 

Cost: WNTA members £4.00 Non members £4.50. Pay on the door. Tea/coffee & biscuits 50p.
