Time & Leisure has announced the finalists of its 2025 Food & Culture Awards and we’re delighted to see so many Village businesses featured!
This year’s awards received over 12,000 votes from people keen to recognise their favourite venues and events. All businesses that made the shortlist will be recognised as either Recommended, Commended or Highly Commended, with one lucky Winner announced at the Awards Ceremony on June 23rd.

Local favourites have also been named across multiple other categories. In the Best Gastropub category we have three Village finalists: the Rose & Crown, Dog & Fox and Fox & Grapes. Amathus and the Good Fortune Club have been shortlisted in the Best Newcomer category, while Cent Anni and The Orangery at the Hotel du Vin, Cannizaro House both made it on to the finalist list for the Local Restaurant of the Year award. The Black Lamb has once again been shortlisted in the Fine Dining Restaurant of the Year category and in the Best Independent Coffee/Tea House category, Demitasse is also a finalist for the second year running. And, for the first time, we are delighted that our festive family fun day, Christmas in the Village, has been shortlisted for the Family Attraction of the Year award!
