In 1894, from February to July, you would have found Evelyn Evans aged 11 on Wimbledon Common collecting wild flowers including Ox Eye Daisies.
You will still find these daisies on the Common amongst many other wonderful plants thanks to the efforts of the Victorian Wimbledon community. Learn the full story in the museum and create your own daisy planting kit to take home, including an eco-friendly planter, Ox Eye Daisy seed and soil.
Where & When: Wimbledon Museum, 2.30 – 5.00 pm daily from Friday 31 May to Sunday 2 June.
