Whether you’re looking for a perfect pint or a classic cocktail, Wimbledon Village has a great selection of pubs and bars to choose from. Here are five of our favourites:

  1. Rose & Crown

A firm favourite with locals and visitors to the Championships, the ‘Rose’ has the relaxed and friendly ambience of a traditional British Village pub. Situated on the High Street just a stone’s throw from Wimbledon Common, this charming pub & hotel boasts a large courtyard at the rear which is ideal for enjoying sunny afternoons and long summer evenings, and can even be enjoyed in the cooler months thanks to outside heaters. In winter, roaring open fires welcome you (and your four legged friends) in from the cold to get you cosy and warm. The pub has an extensive wine list, a great selection of beers and spirits and if you’re looking to pair your drinks with food, a varied menu offering pub classics and daily specials.

  1. The Ivy Café

While the Ivy Café Wimbledon may be considered more a brasserie than bar, you are very welcome to drop by just to enjoy a drink. Choose from exclusive cocktails expertly made by the Ivy’s resident mixologists to craft beers from local small batch breweries. Take a seat at the bar to soak up the intimate and sophisticated ambience of the Ivy’s gorgeous interior or weather permitting, drink al fresco at one of their pavement tables and watch the world go by.

  1. Dog & Fox

Located at the very heart of the Village, the iconic Dog & Fox pub with rooms boasts a bright and airy bar area with a warm and welcoming atmosphere. As with all the Youngs pubs it offers an extensive selection of beers, ales, wines and spirits in addition to a comprehensive food menu with changing daily specials. It’s large roadside beer garden is a real draw in the Summer – the perfect place to hang out and people watch. You’ll even see the horses trot by as the pub is situated right next door to Wimbledon Village Stables.
