Ad Lib Gallery is delighted to present a solo exhibition of new work by HAZ, celebrating her vibrant and unmistakable approach to the contemporary still life.

 

Known for her richly coloured table scenes, HAZ transforms the rituals of eating, drinking and gathering into joyful, graphic compositions. From overflowing seafood platters and bowls of fruit to cocktails, flowers and sun-drenched tables, her paintings capture the pleasure of slowing down and enjoying the moment.

 

Drawing inspiration from Mediterranean travel and the conviviality of shared meals, HAZ combines bold colour, playful perspective and expressive brushwork to create paintings that feel both nostalgic and distinctly contemporary. Her carefully considered compositions are made with interiors in mind, bringing energy, warmth and a sense of occasion to the spaces they inhabit.

 

This new collection celebrates the end of summer in true HAZ style — long lunches, late afternoons, good food and even better company.
