Armed Forces Day is an annual event that honours and celebrates service personnel, veterans, cadets, and their families. In 2026 it is being celebrated in Wimbledon Village with a parade, stalls and a community picnic on Wimbledon Common.
Where & When: Wimbledon Village on Saturday 27th June, 2026
Event Programme:
12:00 – Armed Forces Parade down Wimbledon Village High Street (from The Wimbledon Village Club to the Village War Memorial)
12:30 – Civic Ceremony at the Wimbledon War Memorial
13:00 – Community Picnic on Wimbledon Common
Special fund-raising picnic hampers with goodies generously provided by local businesses Bayley & Sage, the Dog & Fox, the Rose & Crown and Wimbledon Brewery are available to buy in advance for £20.
