This 1-hour complimentary clinic from APPI is designed for runners of all levels who want to improve performance, reduce injury risk, and build long-term resilience. The session will cover the key physical demands of running, common injury patterns, and the role of strength training, load management, and movement efficiency in staying injury-free and running well.
It will be led by APPI clinic manager and physiotherapist Hannah Hobbs who has a strong background in running and endurance sport, and is a keen runner herself. She has completed multiple marathons, including the Beachy Head Trail Marathon, and the Hever Castle Half Ironman. Having also undergone an ACL reconstruction in her teens, she brings first-hand insight into the importance of injury prevention, strength training, and intelligent training progression for both performance and longevity in running.
